Tri-Star Soccer League exists to provide Tennessee’s competitive youth soccer clubs with a sanctioned, high-quality home league — one that keeps competition rooted in this state, keeps decision-making in the hands of club leaders, and keeps the pathway open for every player to grow.
Who We are
Tri-Star Soccer League was created by soccer people who recognized a simple truth: Tennessee’s clubs are ready for a more structured and competitive league of their own.
Tennessee clubs are talented, organized, and committed, and they deserve a home league that reflects that.
TSSL is that league. We are a US Club Soccer-sanctioned competitive league built on a foundation of club-first governance, geographically intelligent scheduling, and a genuine pathway for players to grow from U8 all the way through U19.
As part of US Club Soccer, TSSL recognizes the US Club Soccer pyramid as the pathway for our members.
We are not a state office. We are not a governing body. We are a league. One that puts clubs, coaches, players, and families first in every decision we make.

Our Story
Founded on Firsthand Experience
TSSL was founded by leaders with extensive, hands-on experience creating, operating, and growing competitive youth soccer leagues. We understand what clubs need, what families expect, and what it takes to build something that lasts.
We saw what was missing in Tennessee: a sanctioned league with the structure of a national platform, a real pathway to regional and national platforms, a full State Cup competition, localized scheduling, and the trust that comes from being governed by the soccer leaders from the clubs themselves.
GOVERNANCE
Club-Led. Soccer-Driven.
TSSL is governed by the clubs it serves. Soccer decisions are made by soccer people, not by administrators. If it’s not good for game, it’s not good for TSSL. These are the people doing the work every day — running training sessions, developing players, and leading clubs with integrity.
The Technical Committee makes the soccer decisions for TSSL: scheduling philosophy, division standards, competition format, and player development principles. Club directors don’t advise this league — they lead it.

TSSL is built around Tennessee’s geography. Regular-season scheduling is designed to keep clubs competing within their own region, minimizing travel burden on families and coaches without sacrificing competitive quality.
